Not the first time she has done this nor is it the first time that it has been made a campaign issue. The last time she & her campaign made a 'big deal' about them selling the 'offending' airplane but it was quietly replaced.

One would have thought that the lesson was learned then. She was reelected when her GOP opponent, Todd Akin, went and shot himself by stating, "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing [pregnancy] down." The firestorm from that made him unelectabe.

She was flying in there on her jet.

It is a technical jet as the plane is a Pilatus 12 turboprop, meaning that the propulsion is provided by the 5 bladed prop in the nose, but the power plant is a jet turbine.
