RUSH: Did you see that Claire McCaskill, senator from Missouri, suffered a broken rib when Senator Joe Manchin had to give her the Heimlich maneuver? Did you hear what happened to her? She was doing one of these bus tours through Missouri to meet her voters way out in hinterlands. It turns out she was taking her jet — her family’s private jet — to these different locations while everybody else bused in, and then she would be driven to the bus a short ways out of town so it was made to look like she was on the bus. But she wasn’t.
She was flying in there on her jet.
Wow.
Rush is from Missouri. He should make MacCaskill his special project. Missouri owes us better.
Time magazine should do a cover of her on the bus.

Didn’t Hillary have a big bus she never rode on for the last campaign? It broke down once or twice. She had the typical 20-40 year old teenagers traveling in it.

Thanks for the link to Robert Preston’s performance in “The Music Man”. That was a hard scene to sell, and he did it flawlessly. And Iowa is next door to Missouri.

She’s big on wanting to do away with NBC for POTUS requirements.
One would have thought that the lesson was learned then. She was reelected when her GOP opponent, Todd Akin, went and shot himself by stating, "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing [pregnancy] down." The firestorm from that made him unelectabe.
She was flying in there on her jet.
It is a technical jet as the plane is a Pilatus 12 turboprop, meaning that the propulsion is provided by the 5 bladed prop in the nose, but the power plant is a jet turbine.
