NEW YORK Police arrested five people Sunday in connection with a brutal machete attack on a teen outside a Bronx bodega earlier in the week.
Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, 15, was pulled out of the Cruz and Chiky grocery Wednesday by members of the Dominican gang Trinitarios, who beat him, hacked him with a machete and left him to die on the sidewalk outside the store in what officials believe was a case of mistaken identity, according to the New York Post.
Gang members wrongly believed Guzman-Feliz was in a revenge sex video posted online that featured a relative of one of the attackers, according to the Post.
A leader of the gang later apologized on Facebook for the mistake, according to WPIX.

"...Its just my nature, I suppose..."
In 2003 when I was a young whipper snapper soldier posted in Winnipeg, I was out on a date at a movie. We were sitting in the previews and she asked me to get some popcorn. So, out I go, and as I’m nearing the main area with the vendors, I hear a commotion. I turn to my left to where the Winnipeg blue bombers stadium side was, and in through those doors came roughly 20 Chinese chasing one Filipino. The Filipino guy came running in and they were beating him with full length batons. He gets up and keeps running, and as they passed me, I grabbed an arm full of crap from the counter and launched it all into the crowd. They then turned their attention to me
I grabbed the nearest wee bastard and took his baton and prepared to raise hell. The fact that I stood my ground was enough that other men in the area started to join me. They all backed down assuring me I didn’t know who I was messing with. I don’t care. I’m a son of God. My insticts were to help. When we do the right thing, often others will join us. It takes one leader to stand up. One to take the leap of faith.
What we really lack today is children of God. Real children of God. If we all acted like we are God’s own children, there is nothing we can’t do through him. All our societal problems could be alleviated if we did our jobs and turn people’s hearts to God. Sometimes it’s something as simple as standing your ground against all odds.
