Amen. I’ve watched a couple of interviews with Holly Taylor and she’s really hoping. I have not time for the haters, she did a fantastic job and sounds much more “together” in person than Keri usually does.

“House of Cards but faded away from them(not sure why)”
because it got more and more stupid and more and more ridiculous and more and more not believable?

Oh I also like that Forged in Fire show on History Channel. Thats a good show. I was watching Forged in Fire a couple weeks ago and they had all military smiths on. They did their thing and for the final test they said they were going to do thair bullet test where they shoot a bullet at the edge of each sword to see if it will slit it. They've done this before and used a rifle in a fixed pedestal. This time they said that the host is a former Army Ranger and helo rescue medic or something like that and he'd do it himself. Had no idea he was a veteran. Anyway the host takes out a pistol, leans down and takes the shots, hits the swords right on their edges (both spit the bullet without issues). Very impressive shooting out of that host. I always knew I liked that guy!

I dont think I even watch TV anymore. Cant even remember.
Winter and early spring is "shut in" weather so I kept paying my cable bill.
The rest of the year is good enough to get away from the boob tube.
These must be summer replacement shows that never caught on.

Like The Americans. 12 monkeys is in its final season. Sometimes ending a series before it gets stale is a good way to go. I watched the last 3,12 monkeys episodes this morning off the DVR.
Im also a fan of The Expanse which is also ending.

No kidding, never heard of any of them.
Last TV series I watched was "The Americans", and "Justified" before that.
It is a desert know, so my wife gets to watch chick flicks on Netflix while I read.

There was a time, back when cable networks were fewer, and my life taken up by working and raising two sons, that I never watched television...not even the news. When the Gulf War began, I watched the only cable news program...CNN. Fast forward many years...Time Warner finally came to my area, along with DVRs...and Fox News. I watched Fox News religiously, until the night they called Florida for Gore, and then I watched it less and less. I stopped watching all together after Obama got elected...no network/cable news period. I retired, and decided to start recording some of the programs I thought I’d like. After 15 years of retirement, and watching network TV shows come and go, I’m getting back to losing interest in watching most TV programming. Most new shows are based on old ideas, packaged in a different way. And I can’t stand seeing the same actors who show up on a new series after their old series was cancelled in its first season the year before.
The only premium channel I subscribed to was Starz, and I cancelled that when they cancelled Ash vs. Evil Dead. It was about the only program I watched on that network.
About the only other program that I was surprised to find out was cancelled, was “Scorpion.” I had hoped someone would pick that up, but sadly no one has.
I get a lot of British programming off UK torrent sites. The Brits do great documentaries, historical dramas, and mysteries. Some eventually show up on Netflix, BBC America, etc.

One thing that will kill my interest in a show or movie is insulting my political beliefs. I'm not talking a line or an single episode an minor character here. But full blown in-your-face-take-it-or-leave it Political Correctness indoctrination.
I didn't watch Modern Family, Shades of Blue for this reason and it killed my viewing of both Walking Dead and Fear the Dead in its tracks. Won't have it in my house and I damned sure I won't pay for it.

Funny you mentioned "Justified" Got the disk series on my tv now and loaning it out to my mom. Got her hooked on it. Little cussing and no homos. Some PC but hardly noticeable. Sad it was not continued but the writing did decline in the last few seasons so glad they stopped while it was still good.
"The Americans" I'm going to "Netflex" in a bing session this winter.

"and I feel strongly that there will be a spinoff."
The daughter Page? Not to mention Agent Beeman and Henry's future.
One program I recently watched on BBC America was "Killing Eve." It was excellent and has been renewed for a second season. Jody Comer who plays the young contract killer Villanelle did a fine job. The only other TV series I had seen her in was "The White Princess" where she played Henry VIII's mother Elizabeth of York. Quite a difference in characters.

Solid cast. The little blonde is gorgeous and the actress who plays Jennifer is a talented comedienne. Props also to Deacon and Jones.
They seem to be having fun with the wrap-up. I’m sure they know how utterly ridiculous it has become.

I loved Hap and Leonard. Watched it because I like James Purfoy, and was sad to hear it had been cancelled. Makes me want to read the books now.

I watched “The Americans” only because they bought many of the vintage costume pieces from my daughter’s shop in Brooklyn, and paid a pretty penny for them!

Very true.
I start watching a show or a movie and I get this notion that I've seen this plot before. and long before it ends. I've already predicted the plot and the "big baddie" but now they've added obsenties, nudity and PC characters. Monotonous.
And the main networks have all these talent shows(I have no interest in "judges" tearing out the hearts of amatuers, however talentless) while others gone back to game shows. That's soooo 50's!
Been there. Done that.

FOX is sooooo boring lately. They got rid of many of their best in the Great Sex/Groping Scandal . The only funny people left are Gutfeld and Crew. I do sometimes watch “Eight Legs and One Lucky(?) Guy.”
