The problem with a lot of current Americans is we've lived through such a long period of peace that many have a very poor sense of history. We are the ones who have been experiencing an anomaly. The *standard* conduct of human affairs and governance is exactly what is occurring right now: it is a constant, unending competition of intrigue, will power, conflict and war.
FR was born in an era where the political divide was defined as how best to manage national problems. The media, while biased, still presented the basic factual case of private enterprise vs government management. From that starting point, the public debate worked through the democratic process by which the country was governed.
This model is now completely obsolete. The progleft has declared war on the People, intending to capture all power, control and resources for themselves. While they are in the minority, their control of the media provides an excellent strategic weapon that allows them to punch in excess of their weight.
But that's all they really have. If we consider the types of messages the treasonous conspirators are releasing, they reveal more than what they perhaps intend. Their weakness is it's all smoke & mirrors; the true strength lies with patriots.
So, as I attempt to keep reminding everyone, what we face today is what hundreds/thousands of generations & cultures have faced before. It's not unique, weird, special, outrageous, unprecedented or in any way different than similar dangers that always manifest in human governance.
Our job is to inform, educate and provide moral support for both Trump & the People that this battle for the soul of the country will be won by patriots. It really is that simple - dark, ominous warnings are just chaff - ones which the enemy wishes you would dwell upon.
In a historic context, a great empire shouldn't self-destruct as young as we are. We've over-reached with war-mongering, we've allowed invaders to overrun our nation, way too many citizens are brainwashed to think this is compassionate and tolerant. And now we've got pols proving to be as bad or worse as those who were in the portions of the Roman Empire that did indeed fall. We don't have to worry about invasion by another military force. We're being destroyed by arrogance and greed. There is nothing okay about it. What happens if we all "take a chill pill" while our enemies from within are ginning up their followers to have a revolution? Hint: Cairo, Damascus, Kiev, Libya,......
