a firebrand Glenn Becks multimedia empire TheBlaze appears to be on its last legs after another round of layoffs and after a prospective high-profile buyer lost interest.
The right-wing cable and digital media companyfounded by Beck shortly before he exited Fox News in 2011fired another round of staffers this week, shrinking a workforce that has already been reduced to less than 50 employees, according to two sources who spoke with The Daily Beast on the condition of anonymity. The two sources also confirmed that more than a dozen employees had been laid off over the past several days.

Handing out Teddie Bears at the border was the beginning of his downfall, these IDIOTS still have NO IDEA just how ANGRY Americans are over this immigration invasion of our country!!! WE have been quiet for decades having been accused of being racist, Trump gave us a voice FINALLY someone gave us a voice!!! Beck hung himself on the immigration issue and then put the icing on the cake by being a NEVER TRUMPER!!!! I at one time addicted to Beck absolutely would NEVER miss his show now I cant stand him!!!!
I noticed long ago that there are several Glenn Becks which manifest like the three faces of Eve, only he has around fourteen.
Rollicking Glenn and Comical Glenn are OK sometimes, but when it turns to Serious Glenn or Weeping Glenn or Preachy Glenn or (related) Mormon Glenn topped off with Apocalyptic Glenn, then there’s nothing to listen to.
He’s now attempting MAGA Glenn, but as noted, too little, too late.
I used to love listening to Glenn but as soon as he jumped on the anti-Trump bandwagon, he lost me. You chose unwhisly Glenn.
Or get a newspaper route. Be a secret shopper. Sell do-Terra.
Glenn Beck had something, did something that made a huge difference in our understanding of politics in America.
Glenn Beck’s Fox Channel show was unlike anything on TV/Cable.
He educated his viewers and brought historical context into current events that gave his viewers a renewed passion for the truth.
No one has ever done this.
And, Glenn Beck did it extremely well.
The crying, the hyperbole of breaking news and his never Trump position lost me long ago.
Glenn is a natural teacher, not a very good prognosticator.
Glenn who??
He lost me with his teddy bears and soccer balls for illegal alien kids. The never Trump move made that loss permanent.
Didn’t he buy a compound in Texas where his cult followers could live.
I think he stopped crying after he was on longer seen on tv. Crying on the radio just doesn’t have the same effect.
If he had been on-board back in 2015, the Blaze would have been a media powerhouse today.
Beck got down in the mud with Alex Jones. Guess which one is still around. Beck’s not really a Texas guy or a rural guy. He’s urban, a show biz guy who’ll put any aspect of his private life front and centre for ratings. C’mon Glenn, guys with ranches don’t emote. They do, rain or shine, without bitching because it’s a freely-taken responsibility, not a hobby.
He tried to use money to simultaneously buy cred with coastal types and flyover country and he’s gone broke doing it. The only thing all that money did was show the deep cognitive dissonance in Glenn Becks brain.
Yup, my wife and I hadn’t really heard of him until his fox show and we watched it regularly. Then he had the 9/12 rally which was pretty awesome but then he went through some metamorphosis and started dressing like some televangelist or Mr Rodgers and started acting like some all knowing persona - holy roller - holier than thou, all while still doing zany antics etc and he lost us.
Someone with deep pockets paid him to attack Trump.
Beck was too dumb to know the moment he took the $, his future was doomed.
People keep saying this, and it keeps not happening.
I don’t think he’s interested in selling. I don’t believe he’s tried to sell TheBlaze. He started it because Fox was trying to tell him what he could and couldn’t say on certain matters and he wanted to be able to have a platform where he could say what he believes without outsiders trying to tell him he can’t. I certainly agree with that. But you can’t do that if someone else owns the company, can you?
Well, we know of at least one person who wishes he could jump back in time a couple of years and become pro-Trump when it meant something.
Yeah, I remember when he tried to replicate the Tea Party gathering in D.C. by having his own gathering on the National Mall where he could act with extreme sanctimony. That is when Beck Jumped The Shark.
"How's your soul?"
