What we are seeing is mob mentality. People are doing and saying things they would not otherwise say or do because they have become part of the mob.

Usually the individual is lost within the mob which emboldens them into more extreme action. The fact that many high profile people have joined the mob kind makes you wonder what it is they are afraid of?

As pointed out before, the left always overplays their hand. While they may have got some support from the mushy middle at first, they will lose it when people realize what we are seeing is a LYNCH MOB in action.

A lynch mob going after the President of the United States.

Are people like Fonda going to accept blame when some unbalanced individual attempts to assassinate the President?

Well of course not, but they should. It is their voice that is building the threat not just against the President but the entire nation.

are you kidding? They will be proud and thrilled and will go after and kill every conservative they can catch.

That is what mobs do.

Thanks for the interesting comment. The psychology of the radical left has always fascinated me. When you listen to ANTIFA and other leftists, they seem unusually fixated on calling their opponents NAZIs, but no mention is made of Stalin or Pol Pot. This reveals them as posures who are not truly interested in fighting political oppression or cruelty. Instead, the use of the NAZI label sets up a universally accepted example of evil, to which they can compare themselves favorably.Their problem is that no one can be a super hero unless they oppose a super villian. In the absence of any actual super villian, like the NAZIs, one must be created, for the benefit of their super hero fantasy and in order to reinforce their low self image. This is why Trump, a man who seems to have ended the Korean War after sixty-five years, is so often called a NAZI, among other things.
