Here’s a crime for you:
At least 5 identified, high-level DOJ/FBI agents and attorneys colluded and conspired to manipulate the 2016 election in favor of one candidate. On that candidate’s loss, they then colluded and conspired to undermine the credibility of a duly elected President such that the citizenry would cause his impeachment, negating a fair and proper national election.
That behavior is so far out of acceptable that the legislature didn't foresee a need to make that behavior criminal. As Al Gore would put it, there is no controlling legal authority.
Generally speaking, actions by the government against the people are protected by the law - where remedies appear in the law, the remedies are toothless in practice, as the hurdles for the injured public are very high.
All we are going to get is a few scalps, Congressional hearings, and more empty promises. Oh, and the FBI is going be trained on how to evade accountability for bias and malfeasance.
