We can still discuss Bill Cunningham and keep things somewhat on-topic I think.
Cunningham was the warm-up for a 2008 rally in Cincinnati for NoName. As you are very familiar with Willie’s mojo, he can get pretty fiery, and every time Willie mentioned BHO’s name in front of the crowd he said “Barack HUSSEIN Obama” using all three names. Cunningham said his full name many times each time with just a tiny bit more emphasis on “Hussein”. There was no outright spoken word from Cunningham about BHO being Muslim, but the inference was clearly there and apparent to any Dumb Dora.
Afterwards NoName scolded Willie for using BHO’s middle name...hammered him pretty hard for it. That was my WTH epiphany moment about NoName...is he in it to win it? It was also my first inkling that there may not be a clear-cut difference between standard Repubs and Dems. Before that I was on board with NoName (read Palin), but after that deal with Cunningham not so much.
BTW: I looked at your personal page, so TBDBITLs to ya, and considering your training read up on WLW radio broadcast history. If you like BIG horsepower then WLW is your bag.
Thanks for that. Yes, I remember that rally and the draw Sarah P. had. My sister still lived in the West Chester area just north of Cincinnati and they attended. Yes, my son and I are both members of the TBDBITL alumni. Our favorite day of the year is when we get to march together during the Alumni Marching Band weekend every fall. By the way, I’ve heard many on-fire messages from Cunningham as you can imagine. From political rallies to high school football games to “muster the troops.” :)
