Looked into it and the tubes on this vessel were the right size and capacity for a tube launched missile. Variant was developed in Israel as a knockoff and had exetneded range and capabilities including longer range. Could have easily been launched from the “missing” Argentine sub and intercepted by ship to air missiles from our ships positioned in the area. Splash means in my understanding shot down over the sea and “splashed” means into the water.

As to the Mossad sub question yes, in if I remember correctly in an interview with Netanyahu when he was under investigation for taking favors he mentioned that Mossad had at least one submarine, most likely purchased from Germany as they are the builder of choice and the ship had very long range and would utilize t he same tube launched missiles as were used by the Argentine sub. There is also a picture of that the Argentine sub after being captured, I may still have a copy as I collect relevant images like this and clearly there were people and activities related to being boarded and not just sunbathing.

So at the end when Obozo and the fam were in Hawaii ostensibly out of range the missile was intercepted. It worked against them as the alert triggered an automated data protection transfer of the copy maintained in Hawaii that had more than the land based data stores. When the alarm sounded it all got shipped onshore as Assange knew it would as SOP, netting a complete copy of everything including files that ES and others has squirreled away there.

wasn’t sure the tube size required - thanks for the follow-up

I think CIA/Mossad and a few others have their own subs. since all their budgets are kept away from public eyes it’s hard to say what else they might have.
