You may be right. But I have multiple competing theories....
1. They are not on our side. They only protect their own.
2. Some are good. Some are bad. Case by case basis.
3. The top level is controlled; the lower level is beholden to them. I.e., follow orders or lose your job. Or something worse.
I’m inclined to think that many in LE are being blackmailed. Many are just ignorant, going along with orders because they haven’t dug deeply enough to know what’s really going on. Those who are honest are probably kept far, far away from high profile cases like the Aussie woman. The top brass would only assign “investigators” who could be trusted to come to the “correct” conclusions.
The Aussie woman was in Minnesota. Mohammedan Somali cop. MN run by Rat vermin. Not a “regular” cop shop. Head cop was a freaking LESBIAN.
Not your average, typical or normal cop shop.
police are waiting for their pension...just like military...put in your 20 or so....how can a group of people be trusted implicitly when you know they’ll do anything to get their time in, especially the big shot officers...
