I’m pretty sure that was a THAAD launch, and if it wasn’t from land it was from a barge or other floating platform.

A THAAD makes a lot more sense coming from that location.

So I Googled THAAD and got a Wikipedia hit:

Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), formerly Theater High Altitude Area Defense, is an American anti-ballistic missile defense system designed to shoot down short-, medium-, and intermediate-range ballistic missiles in their terminal phase (descent or reentry) by intercepting with a hit-to-kill approach.[2][3]

So THAAD is an anti-missile missile - Hmmmm - That would be serious. Where did the incoming launch come from? Don’t think this would be too hard to trace back to the originator.
