Symptoms of prostate cancer
In the early stages of the disease there are often no warning signs, but you and your loved ones should look out for:
Needing to urinate more often, especially at night.
Difficulty starting to urinate or a weak flow
Straining or taking a long time to finish urinating.
A feeling that your bladder has not emptied properly.
Needing to rush to the toilet you may occasionally leak before you get there.
Dribbling urine.

...it will mean only 10% of men need prostate cancer screening tests and the rest we can leave alone. Leave alone? Really? FINALLY!
Hallelujah!

The symptoms you listed are also the symptoms for other prostate problems like BPH (enlarged prostate) or Prostatitis (enflamed prostate).
If you have any of the symptoms, it most likely isn't cancer, but you need to get to a urologist ASAP and let him make the diagnosis.

Just as I retired my wellness exam revealed an elevated PSA. Which lead to a biopsy which revealed that I had the early stage prostate cancer.
At the time there were 2 main courses of treatment “Slash and Burn” cut it out or radiation. Both with numerous side effects and dangers.
My urologist also mentioned that there was an experimental ultra-sound treatment.
Of course I went home and researched my options and found that less than 6 months before the FDA had approved the High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) prostate ablation procedure. A day surgery with minimal risks so that is what I choose.
Of course because it was new it was difficult finding an oncologist doing that procedure but as luck would have it I found one in the Fort Worth suburb of Dallas. And of course because it was new no insurance would touch it so I had to pay out of pocket, thank God I have a 401k/IRA.
2 years later my PSA is undetectable and that means no prostate cancer.
Now there are commercials on the radio for that HIFU procedure.

Just trying to get 2 things out to people who have the Y gene.
1. Men get a yearly PSA test. Prostate cancer is a painful way to die.
2. If your prostate cancer is caught in the early stages HIFU is the way to go.
