Both of my brothers were standardbred driver/trainers for years. It was not unusual for drivers to discuss race strategy before post time. This is not considered fixing a race. They knew the horses they had to beat in most races and they would discuss things they could do to give their horses and OWNERS a chance against those horses. Justify did not need any help in this race. Most importantly you can be sure Soros had absolutely no say in anything and was not involved in any pre-race arrangement. If there was any discussion it was between a very small, maybe three person, conversation.
