We had some pretty crude jokes about why the planes were late. Most involved male only sexual activities that were probably taking place in the air craft as to why they were late.

Back then Marine infantrymen were homophobic misogynistic full grown men with adolescent school boy minds. Even the fags were homophobic. No PC allowed. We were men, manly men!
