I’m not a fan of the prequels either. The third one had a few good moments, but otherwise, those movies were forgettable.
I don't care if it's good. Star Wars has turned to the dark side, and now it needs to be destroyed. It needs to be wrecked as a financial property, and so far as i'm concerned, spreading the allegation that it is bad is in the best interest of America.
Disney is evil, and turns everything it touches into more evil.

The production team at Disney has basically said they don’t want straight white males watching the new Star Wars movies because they weren’t made for us. They proudly wear shirts that say “The force is female” and in not so many words want us to F off and die.
So, no. I don’t care if Solo is the best of all the Star Wars movies because my boycott has nothing to do with output, but input. I’m not giving them any of my coins until their production team is purged of people who hate my very existence.
Hollywood must die! And the only way to kill it is to stop supporting the cash cow franchises, like Star Wars that subsidize the rest of their garbage.
Good movie or not, if you (expletive) in your dinner bowl too often, people will notice. I’m done with SW, and I don’t even need to see the last two.
They need to remember that it’s supposed to be ‘entertainment’ and lay off on the preaching, not that they’ll ever do that.

Well, both are boring. Star Wars was fun when I was 12 years old (big space ships, cool swords) and Disney was fun when I was 15 years old (sneaking in, meeting girls).

Yep, it was a fun ride. I am sorry we won’t see more of Han Solo’s story, and I feel sorry for the actor. But no, the studio should not disrespect the fans.

I just saw this movie yesterday.
What else bugs me? We keep getting all these ENGLISH females. What are they trying to do, convince me again that these are exotic females?
Meanwhile none of the females they’ve had have exuded toughness like Carrie Fisher (for all her faults like liberalism).
Still the modern problem of trying to make naturally weak women seem like they’re tough. They don’t look tough and they don’t “feel” tough. The Golden Era had much better females.
Do you have to be nasty when we’re just discussing a movie? I made my first professional writing bucks writing SW for West End Games. I really love the Solo character and would have enjoyed seeing more of his background in these films. My preference — I assume you can be more pleasant with your own opinions? Not trying to slam you, but...really.
I thought it was exciting, fun, and the actor playing Han did a great job. Actor playing Lando though just reminded me of a street punk trying to be suave. In the originals, Lando was BORN suave, and I doubt he needed to cheat at cards.
