I hate the name - XFL eXtreme Football League! I find that to be childish. Call it NAFL - North American Football League!
If they bring back gentlemens’ football...a thinking man’s game, honor on the battlefield with players who respect each other and are required to behave themselves on and off the field, you will get a legion of passionate, involved fans.
If they do this, it will be a smashing success. I hope that’s what happens.

To bad football players aren’t very smart. Imagine what would be being said if after honoring our country during the National Anthem, theyare one else in prayer asking God to end racism. Oh, I guess after kicking him out of high school football games God might not feel welcome.

“Requiring” doesn’t mean jack shit. Why can’t they appreciate the opportunities afforded them as free Americans and stand on their own free will?

Do like the NBA and put the requirement in the Rule Book.

has to follow the rules of the game since it is a part of
their contract to play.
Leather helmets instead of those huge plastic shells filled with foam. That would cut down on head injuries.
I was starting to open the door to watching the nfl again after the owners told the players to keep their protests in the locker room, but after the Philly stunt, I’m out for good. It’s pretty clear that a large portion of the league hates us and our country so let them crack their heads apart on postal pay for all I care.
The XFL should take it one step further and ask those who have a problem with the flag to specifically find another line of work. The NFL has given them a huge opening if they can capitalize on it.
The foam is more protective. It’s why motorcyclists have similar helmets today and also dumped the leather helmets in ancient times.
