Did rush just accidentally call Donald Trump Ronald Reagan?
Posted on 06/05/2018 10:56:08 AM PDT by MNDude
I was just listening to Rush Limbaugh, and he stated how president Trump disinvited the Eagles to the White House. I thought I heard Rush say he is sending a message that Nobody messes with the White House as long as Ronald Reagan is in there or something like that.
Did I hear correctly?

I never heard him say that, and I’m a daily listener and subscriber since 1999

Come on, you’ve got to come up with a better line.
This one is making you look unimaginative and dull.

I turned Rush off for months during the painful time when he was an insufferable Never Trumper. Rush finally came around but I still don’t totally trust him now and listen much less than I used to.

Odd, but Rush was like a damn three hour ad for Trump from the time Trump announced. Rush saw the Trump parade and ran as fast as he could to get in front to appear to lead it.

I will never forget the conduct of some so-called conservatives whilst Trump foungth the battle which would determine if we would even have a Republic after 2016.
Some say on their asses, some where outright traitors. It was only thanks to the sheer genius of Trump that we won.
I dont believe it healthy to hold hatred in my heart, so I will forgive. But I will never forget

He was recounting when Reagan fired the air traffic controllers en masse and that a message was sent to any interested observer, friend or foe, that he (Reagan) is not fooling around. He was drawing a parallel to Trump cancelling the Eagles’ visit.

I loved the various update theme songs, intro voice overs about the satellite, and the fairly often played parody songs by both Pauls.

Donald Trump is the best president that we've had for well over 60 years, no exceptions, and maybe much longer.

I find it curious that Rush always refers to "Trump's supporters", eg "Trump's supporters supporting him because ..". He never uses the pronoun 'we' as if to carefully exclude himself from that group. Yet he is as supportive of Trump as anyone can be but he is just not of them. Maybe it's Rush's elitism. I don't know.

Actually, Trump is turning out better than Reagan.
He seems to pick things up quicker and understands that the GOP is NOT his friend.
Reagan never saw that his VP was trying to undermine him

I agree. Trump is a super achiever in the real world. He is not someone who has reached the apex of their political careers like past presidents, but someone who has taken a pay cut and a lifestyle cut to fix this country. He has watched the country rot for decades. And now he is here to set it straight. That his only agenda.

Not bad considering he was an anti-Trumper and pissed a lot of his fans off.
You're full of crap! When was Rush an anti-Trumper and who did he piss off???
Never once in the history of his program has he ever endorsed a primary candidate so don't even go in that direction.
And once a primary candidate was nominated, never once did he not support him.........

Rush was supporting little Marco Rubio.
You're full of crap too!..........Rush offered accolades for every primary candidate, Rubio included.........There is no way you can defend your comment that he was "supporting" Rubio over the other primary candidates........
