Careful there...

I would not be surprised if liberals set this up just to put him back in the spotlight. This is the sort of thing liberals do. He may have “swatted” himself for some more attention grabbing headlines.

Also, I do agree, people that make false reports should be charged and arrested. It’s against the law, by the way.

I agree. You have a good point that it could be self-inflicted. If that’s the case, he’s guilty of a false report and should be fully prosecuted.

Believe me, I have no sympathy for Hogg. He’s a complete jerk. But we got to where we are today because there is one form of “justice” for “special people” and a different kind for the rest of us. It’s very tempting to look the other way when someone you dislike is mistreated, but tomorrow it could be someone you like or it could be you. I’d love to see Hogg behind bars, but as long as he hasn’t committed a crime, I would defend him, despite his being a total jerk. (Of course if there were other people who needed help and defending, I might prioritize my time in their favor.....)
