Miss America is scrapping its swimsuit competition and will no longer judge contestants based on physical appearance, the organization announced Tuesday.
"We are no longer a pageant," Gretchen Carlson, the first former Miss America to be named chair of the Board of Trustees of the Miss America Organization, said on "GMA." "We are a competition."

Selection to be made on politically correct accomplishment, scoring 1-10. Comepetition is open to women, men, children, apes, and porpoisi.
The swimsuit event will be replace with a competitive eating tournament.

Carlson would be working at Cracker Barrel if it wasn’t for swimsuit competitions.

Well, it’s still called “Miss America”. But maybe next year it’ll be “Person America”.
I'm sure soon it will be dominated by 'transgender' wymyn.
MISS AMERICA?
Is this supposed to make me more not care about the pageant, or less not care about the pageant? The whole thing has always been boring, and when I was growing up and watched television I resented the competition for interrupting the television schedule.
I associate Beauty pageants with repeated cosmetics commercials.
I can’t be the only one.
