This has to be a record in the firing of a cop. Incident occurred yesterday (6/1) and the officer was fired today (6/2).
Maybe the local police were trying to avert a potential riot.
Most of the time when a department fires some one that fast they lose and the officer gets his job back.
Or the officer has a thick personnel file they don’t feel like defending.
Clean hit. But that’s not part of department procedure. He needs to leave the state.

There is in Athens, Ga. an absolutely huge community of low income racist bigot black people who commit crime on a frequent basis. And so yes, avoiding a riot is a theme of the local politicians. Also, with 32,000 college kids in the town, the concept of a riot by the Black Lives Matter crowd would be bad news for the Chamber of Commerce. Athens is designed to be a college town with no real industrial core. Just cooks, janitors, and store clerks. There is no reason for a college kid in Athens to drop out of school to get a great wage job in Athens because there are none. Not for a drop out that is.
Seems he was chasing the arrested person in his patrol car and
hit a stop sign. The chase continue and he then hit the accused.

I recently saw a YouTube video of a patrolman running his cruiser right over a woman who was fleeing after firing some rounds from a pistol. Looked like he parked it on her body. Cold. Don’t have the URL offhand.
Obviously, not many of them do much running on foot these days.

His partner can be seen pursuing the guy on foot.
He didn’t hit a baby buggy or a pet dog. Fleeing felon does not get my sympathy.
A car is as good a weapon as a gun.....the perp should not have tried to avoid arrest....too bad!!!
Cold? The female was shooting multiple rounds at the cops. I would call that a good, “Run over”.
Just based on the title, I don’t have a problem with that.
those videos are fake...there all white people getting killed or run over by the cops...we all know that never ever happens and only black people get shot at by the cops...
I wasn’t taking her side and will try putting the situation this way. The situation was brutal.
But what if the situation were exactly the same but with her husband or boyfriend instead of the cop?
