LOL — rich Corinthian leather

A fine example of FR topical branching.

“An example of fine Corinthian leather: “

Something tells me that car hasn’t been garage-kept.

If it were the Chinese, they would have already claimed SW Russia as part of their country based on this find... moved troops over, sent in squatters e.t.c.

Too bad for the zero corrosion technology applied to the body and frame. They almost rusted on the dealer lot.

Paint technology is vastly improved today over cars on the 70’s. Body rot is one of those items I don’t miss.

He visits a Lapas Lazuli mine still being worked after thousands of years.

The oldest continuously operated mine in the world, and still being mined, is a lapis lazuli mine in Afghanistan. Lapis from that mine made its way to ancient India and ancient Egypt. Many other places too I am sure.

That is really neat! Do you make jewelry or something?

Lapis lazuli is somewhat rare. There are some deposits in southern CO and in Peru IIRC. But most consider the Asian/Afghani to be the most beautiful.

Your friend explores some dangerous places. May he be safe in his travels.
That video looks great. I hope to remember it and view it later.

This was the true golden fleece in the story of Jason (the Argonauts, and Medea), the sheepskin used to catch the flecks of gold.

The series contains 7 videos. the visit to the lapis mine is only one.

It aso depicts the poor miners who have contacts with those who come to purchase and then resell. My associate bought it probably third hand

I may have misunderstood you. I thought you were saying that your friend is the one who made the videos. Not that that detail matters.
