This fad is indeed going to end badly. And the worst part of it all is that it will harm and do damage to legitimately disabled people who actually need service dogs.

Changing the subject it reminds me of the abuse of prescription drugs. Too many a$$h0les are abusing them so the knee jerk reaction of the government is to crack down with a blanket policy that makes it difficult for folks who actually need these drugs.

Service dogs can be viewed as a sort of "prescription drug" for some. A drug being abused.
