I have not drank a beer out of a can in a decade. Bottle or tap is the only way to go.

True, but after the first 2 you don’t care anymore. And I remember when the Coors family was conservative...

The Mexican beer I drink comes in glass bottles. As does the Texas beer I drink. I guess this might be a problem for me if I drank watery beer.

However, an often under reported fact is that Americans are very good at recycling, and aluminum is one of the most successfully recycled products in the United States. According to current industry data, beer cans produced in America today typically contain approximately seventy percent (70%) recycled aluminum. Consequently, the true impact to the end use consumer of a ten percent tariff on imported aluminum – at least in the context of beer production in this country, it may be smaller than once cent per can.

Recycled materials may reduce the added cost of production to the point that the marginal increase amounts to one-third of a penny per can, or two cents ($.02) per six pack. Given the current average cost of beer in America today, this represents a relatively small "added tax" to the consumer.

You mean all those recycled cans are sent overseas to be processed into new beer cans? Color me skeptical of GPS scare tactics!

Could maybe think about using American aluminum.

It exists. I use it in my job.

I’m so old I remember when beer only came in glass bottles. I still order a cold Texas long neck with my meals.

Anyway, mama said aluminum was not healthy.

Mr. Chairman of Molsom Coors,

What you are saying is that I MUST subsidize YOUR business concerning State services.
Mr. Molsom Coors you have not sent me a thank you card for all those years I PAID YOUR TAXES.
Coors, you elitist tyrant.

Mr. Molsom Coors, you DEADBEAT, pay your own taxes.

Pay your Tariff, Mr. Molsom Coors, it buys Government services that YOUR LOBBYISTS beg for from Congress.

Mr. Molsom Coors, Tariffs work! They succeed. You keep demanding Government privilege and regulations.
The Tariff pays for your careless, bad regulations to keep out competition.

Tariff pays your roads, and regulations.

DEADBEAT!

The Chairman is either a incompetent moron or a political asswipe, perhaps both. Beer, which is best in bottles or kegs, isn’t limited to being in aluminum cans.
