I’m glad you like the Butter Chicken. Your Asian Meatballs look good. We use a pork mixture very like that in our potstickers.

I’ll bet that that was where the idea for the meatballs originally came from.

Great summertime recipe; has nice, complex flavors; dribble in a bit sesame oil for punch. Benefits by overnight steeping. CHEFS TIPS: Toast crumbled ramen and sesame seeds before adding. Bring dressing to a rolling boil; cool completely to dissolve sugar and seasonings. Use white or rice vinegar. Store in jar til 15-20 min before service. Adding dressing too soon makes it soggy. Great with roasted sunflower seeds instead of almonds.

ASIAN COLESLAW

SALAD 3 chp green onions, 16 oz bag coleslaw mix (or use broccoli slaw)
3 tb toasted sesame seeds; cup toasted almonds; 3 oz pkg crumbled chicken-flavored ramen noodles.

SERVE Pour dressing over 15-20 min before serving.....no sooner.

DRESSING cup oil, tb wh/vinegar; 1/2 cup sugar; salt/pepper; optional ramen seasoning packet.
