I know. The “Cloud” as an example of marketing would do the Marketing Division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation proud.
And increasingly that server will will have security if not storage run from Communist China.

There is no cloud. You're just using someone else's server. Precisely! "The Cloud" is just a large number of on-the-ground physical datacenters somewhere, run by a bunch of IT geeks (I get to say that, I am one).
Nothing about those datacenters is floating in mid-air.
Some of it is buried pretty deep, however. "Anti-cloud"...
