Finally there are more security concerns. Code would be more secure if programmers understood how the frameworks work. But they don't. Instead they rely on the framework creators to find and fix the security holes. But often they don't even know how it really works. There is now too much unnecessary complexity driven by feature creep.
One of the things I like about FR’s web design is that it is pretty much built from scratch. That makes it resistant to a lot of hacker attacks that target these huge prebuilt frameworks.
I read that about 90% of the code on a typical project today comes from open source libraries. Talk about building in questionable and probably insecure code!
