You are well positioned to be on the cutting edge. After ten years of narrow ties and lapels, the pendulum has begun to swing the other way. This month’s GQ magazine features suits with wide lapels. Not crazy wide like the ‘70s but wider than average. And of course as lapels widen so do ties. I like the narrow look but I also like wider, so I think this will be a fun change. But there is a dark side: they’re also trying to bring back pleated pants...
