I was a GS Warrior fan for decades until their coach started mouthing off about political issues and the team decided to blow off a White House visit by disrespecting Trump. What I find surprising is how easy it is to eschew watching professional sports.

I saw Michael Jordan play and until about a month ago, I'd have sworn he was the best basketball player who ever lived. But he had Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant. LeBron James basically has had a bunch of stiffs this year and he's carried them to the Eastern Conference title at the age of 33. I have zero use for his incoherent politics and his Trump hatred, but LeBron James could probably take a team consisting of himself and a dozen random posters from FreeRepublic deep into the Eastern Conference playoffs. He's the best player I've ever seen.

That said, I hope the Warriors squash him and the Cavs like bugs. Dubs in 5 games.
