Soylo bombed because it was destroyed by social justice warriors. Period.
Star Wars is dead. It’s gone.
Solo did badly because the people running Lucasfilm decided to troll the fans who were mad about the Last Jedi. Not to say that there weren’t people who simply wouldn’t like The Last Jedi, but making up epithets and the like certainly made the situation worse.
