Cheesecake Factory Fires 2 Employees After Incident with Trump Supporter

The Cheesecake Factory has taken action after employees at a Miami location allegedly taunted a Trump supporter on Mother’s Day.

According to a report from The Daily Wire, 22-year-old Eugenior Joseph was intimidated by members of the restaurant’s staff for wearing a red Make America Great Again hat during dinner with his mother and girlfriend.

“I got up and went to the restroom, my girlfriend followed me, and as we were walking back, a group of [the employees] came out from the back and they just started clapping and yelling, and just screaming things at me,” Joseph told the website, adding that one employee “got behind me and another coworker came by and they were staring at each other and he fist bumped him and then he started looking at me, balling his fists, smacking his fists, trying to scare me.” The report also quotes witnesses who say that staffers threatened violence and used a racial slur in reference to Joseph, who is black.

Cheesecake is super easy to make to yourself and tastes far better than store bought:

1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 packages of cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
Blend ingredients well then pour into a 9” graham crust shell and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Let cool on the counter then refrigerate overnight before cutting.

I would bet that there will be a mandatory "Customer Treatment" session for all of the REMAINING employees, emphasizing that it takes a LOT of "At'ta'boys" to overcome one such ugly incident! So, now CF is saying that only two employees harassed him and he mistakenly thought the innocent group of employees having a "staff meeting" next to him were participants in this harassment.

IOW, CF wants us to believe that this innocent group of employees having a staff meeting stood there and watched these customers being harassed and threatened and ignored it?

It doesn't identify the employees by race.

Had they been white, it would have been stated prominently.

If it's Miami, they're likely Hispanic.

I am certain that CF is on it’s way out. And they need to police their waitstaff more closely. I took my cousin out to celebrate Mother’s Day a couple of days late. She had given me a gift card for Christmas and I brought it, but didn’t want her to know that it was the same one she gave. It was for an amount not usually on the card. When I gave it to the waiter, I said ‘I’m not sure exactly how much is left on this card’. (Even thought I did). When he brought it back, he had only taken off $25, for the card. I was shocked but thought maybe I had brought a card only worth $25. And he also didn’t bring my original card back with him. I thought maybe I had picked up one at home that only had $25 on it, so didn’t say anything. But when I got home, nope, I had picked up the one that had more money on it. I didn’t do anything about it because, how could I prove anything. But I won’t be frequenting that CF anymore. Sleazy waitstaff is just the beginning......bye-bye CF. You were good for a while, but now you just suck.
