Charlize Theron has been set to play Megyn Kelly in Annapurna Pictures untitled movie that will focus on the women of Fox News Channel who worked there during the tenure of Roger Ailes, the chairman and network architect who resigned in 2016 amid a sexual and workplace harassment scandal. Jay Roach is directing the pic written by The Big Short scribe Charles Randolph in a project that has been in the works since before Ailes death a year ago. It will feature an ensemble cast with characters portraying Ailes and those at FNC during the scandal, which began when ex-host Gretchen Carlson filed her $20 million sexual harassment lawsuit against Ailes.

Her ex boyfriend and his attitudes and his treatment of women would probably fit very well into what is likely to be depicted in this movie. Can you spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E?

Who would ever think this was interesting enough to watch? Sheesh. Talk about navel-gazing.

Need to set up a FR poll - How many millions will this film make in its initial run (US Box Office), assuming the film actually gets made?
A) < $25M
B) $25-$50M
C) $50M-$100M
D) $100M-$200M
E) > $200M
I say B. I would say A, but enough feminazis and soyboys will show up to clear that hurdle.

Why didnt they cast Stormy Daniels in the role? Seems like a good match for Kelly, except she isnt a lesbian.

I will hedge and say A or B. According to Box Office Mojo, The Post did almost $82 million, and that was with multi-Oscar winning stars and critical accolades and the film itself received several Oscar nominations. I don't see a Fox News film doing as well. Sounds more like something that would be shot for HBO.
