On Tuesday, NFL owners put three hours aside for a privileged session to speak—amongst themselves and family members—about the most sensitive of topics.
One was how the league will handle players kneeling during the national anthem going forward. An idea being floated in the room goes like this: It would be up to the home team on whether both teams come out of the locker room for the anthem, and, should teams come out, 15-yard penalties could be assessed for kneeling.
The league is currently being sued by Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid, with the two unsigned free agents alleging that NFL teams colluded to keep them unemployed. Kaepernick was the first NFL player to kneel during the national anthem, to protest police brutality, starting a trend that swept across the league in 2016 and '17.

So USA haters from both teams kneel and they have offsetting "penalties".
Yea, a whopping 15 yard penalty should do the trick...idiots. If they wanted to fix it, bench the offenders thus depriving them of any performance bonuses, and you’d see the a$$ clowns get off their knees. But too little, too late for a lot of us.
How many people watching those games now? The slow death of the NFL is coming.

They had the rules to deal with it but not the stones to use the rule and let the players call the shots instead. The owners lost control of their huge investment and every game they play in front of smaller crowds with less TV eyeballs is just another rotation around the toilet bowl as vacuum pulls them into the sewer. Well...bye!!!
How about these for penalties: both teams forfeit the game and all revenues from it, both teams are fined, both teams are suspended for the rest of the season, all kneeling are fired and banned from football for life, any team uttering any peep of protest loses its franchise?!
Think that would get their attention?
Or the team that got the 15 yard gift suddenly has a busted play and loses 15 yards....game over nfl...no reboot...trying to do political theater during a game that is basically push and shove is a good way to become irrelevant.
You folks are mistaken. Blacks ARE the game. If the owners play hardball they do so at their own peril. The best thing these player have going for them is that i’m not the commishioner.

Not going to happen the owners are afraid of the players not the fans and what happens when players from both teams do it which they will.
How about the “15-minute” penalty? First offense, you miss the first quarter. Second time, first half. Third time, entire game.
Fourth time, you are forced to start for the Cleveland Charlie Browns.
(Sorry, couldn’t resist the dig on the Browns. Like shooting fish in a barrel!)
