Haven’t seen it yet. Why would anyone in Trump’s campaign be compromised at accepting Hillary’s emails? Why would that be a trap? Seems like that would have been a good thing. Colander Brain here is missing something.

I think if they could entice Trump campaign people to take that bait, since the story is that Russia did the hacking, receiving them would be evidence of collusion with Russia. Which as far as I know, collusion is not a crime. But their spin on it would make it seem so.
Then he would either not be elected or they could impeach him.

As far as I can tell, Hitlery’s emails would contain classified stuff, supposedly hacked by eeeevil Ruskis, so the Trump people would be receiving illicit and classified materials and thus guilty of felonies.
