Actually, you’re wrong.

All carbohydrates are turned into glucose by the liver. It doesn’t matter if you eat pure white cane sugar, a bag of candy corn, a loaf of wonder bread, a pot of sticky white rice, some mac and cheese... It’s turned into glucose.

Your statement is not accurate. All carbohydrates are not turned into glucose by the liver. Many sugars are converted to dextrose in the digestive system and directly absorbed by the bloodstream. These sugars do not need to be processed by the liver. And when blood glucose levels are high, such as after eating a sugary meal, your body releases insulin. Insulin stimulates the formation of Fatty Acid Synthase, an enzyme that increases fat storage.
