Red ....
I think he was a Captain in the Army Air Corps.
I think his Royal Marine position was given to him by Philip.
LOL, that might be appropriate. Or green/gold for being a gold digger.
True. That is an honorary position, Captain General (ceremonial head) of the Royal Marines, that his grandfather held before him.
He went thru whatever boot camp that was required during his service with the British military........
As a vet myself, I'm not inclined to criticize anyone who has proven to have served honorably for their respective country...........
To do so would just be a petty attempt at character assassination..............And I don't go there. Neither should you.........Sheesh!
After a tour in Iraq, he trained as a helicopter pilot. He was training for a deployment to Afghanistan when journalists betrayed the secret and his deployment was cancelled for his safety.
Harry is a real deal soldier and has been active in support organizations for vets. Not surprised these Royal Marine volunteered to honor him.
I wasn’t bashing him, merely trying to answer the other poster’s question.
He certainly did more than me.
I thought that when The Prince was active duty he was Coldstream Guards.
She’s having the whole deal..bridesmaids, white dress it’s kind of disgusting if you ask me. She’s a 36 year old actress and divorced. They are treating her like she is princess Diana or Kate.
She’s a 36 year old casting couch gold digger.
I read she is divorced, but she also was in another marriage that was annulled. True? Not true?
Its Sgt Peppers lonely hearts club band. We hope that you enjoy the show.....
I haven’t heard about that one, but wouldn’t be surprised. I give it 5 years max.
I didn’t realize (actress) Meghan Markle performed for our troops with the USO. That’s nice...
“Harry has spent 10 years serving in the military as part of the Armys Household Cavalrys Blues and Royals - formerly known as the Royal Horse Guards and the Royal Dragoons until 2015 it is expected that he will wear one of his dress uniforms.”
“However, according to historian Hugo Vickers the groom is unlikely to be able to wear it unless he shaves his beard.
This comes as military tradition dictates that the British Army does not permit beards unless there are exceptional circumstances such as skin complaints or religious reasons.”
Well as a former Marine myself it would really piss me off to see someone wear a USMC uniform that hadn’t earned it. That was the reason for the question, or if you’re English Royalty do you just get to pick whatever uniform that looks best without earning it. Maybe he is a Royal Marine by training and if so he has my deepest respect. I was just wondering what branch of the service he actually enlisted in.
Isn’t that what he wore when he was William’s best man?
