I once read that the Model 29 Dirty Harry used was actually a Model 57 in .41 mag. They look identical and are about the same power too.
They had trouble getting a Model 29.

Big Bertha could shell Paris from 80 miles away. It’s trajectory was so high that it technically was the first man made object into space.

that revolver is chambered for the 600 NE.
Just because something can be done, doesn’t mean it should be.

Her she is after a strenuous workout. Big guns.
To: txnativegop
I like to fire this one offhand, with a loose grip, barely concentrating on the shot at hand.

A .44 mag in a model 29 does not bother me but there is no way I would fire full power loads in a .50 S&W.
Now a Ruger Redhawk or Super Redhawk are pretty tame with hot .44 mag loads.

I would not attempt to hit that, lest she hit first.

I have a Ruger Redhawk 44 magnum. Its what goes in my backpack when I go hiking or camping. The kick’s not bad at all on it. Of course being a Ruger, its built like a tank.

I have fired a 454 Casull in a Freedom Arms revolver, but the recoil was a bit more than I care for.
I won’t touch a 460 or 500 S&W even if someone paid me to do so.
