Thanks for reintroducing predators. In Spain, a country I visit a lot, the greenies got the wolves brought back and protected...and now the wolves are killing old ladies and other vulnerable people walking across their fields at twilight (which is apparently wolf feeding time).
Why are we doing this stupid Euro greenie stuff here in the US?
Predator means predator, and they dont ask for your Sierra Club membership before they kill you.
We got over 300 million people in the US. Only several thousand mountain lions and tens of thousands of bears. We can afford to lose a few.
Makes camping a more exciting pastime.
Grizzly or Brown bear sows with cubs are more likely to attack, but generally don’t try to eat you afterwards. Black bear males are more likely to see you as prey. James Gary Shelton has written three or four books about bear attacks and he states that black male bears around the age of three are usually most involved in attacks.
I used to see coyotes walking down my street when I went to work in the morning. Saw fresh bear tracks while out hiking one time.
Is it time yet to talk about how California progressives bought and paid for a ballot initiative banning all practical ways of bear hunting in Colorado? Bear problems have increased ever since. And, with increase in population, those young boars have to go somewhere to establish new territory.
