It's not a one issue only for me personally, but close.
Scott is pro 2A and not an outright gun grabber.
He's a politician so he rides the razor edge on some political issues like this.
He's been a good governor and I think will be miles and miles better than Nelson, which in truth isn't hard to do, since Nelson is basically a automatic vote for the lib-turd party.
I wonder if he is even awake at times.
I wouldnt go as far as to say Scotts pro Second Amendment, but hes not a total gun control nuthes just a coward who surrenders our principles when confronted by crisis. Hes definitely not someone Id want in my foxhole, if I had a real choice.
That said, hes miles ahead of Nelson. The thing that really pisses me off is how Scott did this to himself. His response to the school shooting and his gross mishandling of Saint Skittles just exposes a lack of character that is far too common in the GOP as a whole.
There is no end to the proliferation of (bad) law when a people are not constrained by morality. The whole we need to do something now mentality is anathema to good leadership. The only thing that saves this country is the gross ineffectiveness of our bureaucracies, but at some point even the slowest metastasis will kill the host. Im a strong proponent of federalism, but I expect a Republican Congress to support the President. I think Scott will most of the timewithout question more than Nelson; however, I have no doubt that he will betray us on many issues such as immigration. My prayer is that he will never have the deciding vote in such matters.
