Among more than 200 experts and veterans of Florida politics surveyed in the latest Tampa Bay Times Florida Insider Poll, nearly six in 10 this week said they expect Florida's Republican governor to unseat the three-term Democratic Senator.

Your comments are baseless and foolish, and do not require a serious response, or any response at all. Good day.

Except for the vapid attempt to save face on your part.

If you only knew how pathetically predictable you online oracles are....

If you are fine with limiting my rights to self defense or murdering children, you are scum. Period.

Since you used the word "you" in your post, I have to assume your comment was directed at my worldview and not Scott's

First of all, if you think I'm scum you can KMA and ESAD...douchebag

I can assure you I'm strongly pro 2A and "shall not infringe" means exactly how it reads: period end of story and I'm extremely pro life.

I'm not sure what world you live in, but here in reality, we normally are left with picking the lesser of two evils. Rarely do we get great candidates to support and vote for.

If you think Scott is scum traitor, don't vote for him (If you are a Floridian) sit home and gloat over your principles with you nose in the air.

Not voting means you are by default voting for Nelson.

Never, ever bitch about Nelson again since you had a flawed but far better choice but choose to not engage in our process.

Some people get a little one-issue on the Second.

It's not a one issue only for me personally, but close.

Scott is pro 2A and not an outright gun grabber.

He's a politician so he rides the razor edge on some political issues like this.

He's been a good governor and I think will be miles and miles better than Nelson, which in truth isn't hard to do, since Nelson is basically a automatic vote for the lib-turd party.

I wonder if he is even awake at times.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say Scott’s pro Second Amendment, but he’s not a total gun control nut—he’s just a coward who surrenders our principles when confronted by crisis. He’s definitely not someone I’d want in my foxhole, if I had a real choice.

That said, he’s miles ahead of Nelson. The thing that really pisses me off is how Scott did this to himself. His response to the school shooting and his gross mishandling of Saint Skittles just exposes a lack of character that is far too common in the GOP as a whole.

There is no end to the proliferation of (bad) law when a people are not constrained by morality. The whole “we need to do something now” mentality is anathema to good leadership. The only thing that saves this country is the gross ineffectiveness of our bureaucracies, but at some point even the slowest metastasis will kill the host. I’m a strong proponent of federalism, but I expect a Republican Congress to support the President. I think Scott will most of the time—without question more than Nelson; however, I have no doubt that he will betray us on many issues such as immigration. My prayer is that he will never have the deciding vote in such matters.

I no longer reside in Kentucky and haven’t for some time.

McConnell, I’m convinced, has the elections rigged in the commonwealth. He always manages to be running against the most offensive, boot licking communist in the state that’s offensive even to democrats in KY. I also think he rigs the primaries. Bevin should’ve primaried him the last time but somehow it didn’t happen. I’ve long suspected shenanigans.

Then again, he’s always stood strong on the 2A and at least some of the time on pro life. So if your voting for scott you have no room to talk.

I’ll do anything I want, you can be assured of that.

When the Republican Party adopts a stance of “reasonable gun control” I will remind you of your support for Rick Scott. You and those who voted for him will own those consequences.

Haven’t lived in KY in a while. Voted against the turtle more than once. I think he’s had the elections rigged in KY for a long time. I question the legitimacy of his primary win over Matt Bevin.
