That is good analysis. Sessions is in way over his head. He doesn’t look weak as a brilliant form of kabuki to put bad actors off guard/give them a false sense of security; he looks weak because he is weak. His betrayal of Trump has been complete, and may yet have cost Trump the presidency. It remains to be seen.
I was really disappointed when Rudy Giuliani turned Trump down for AG. Rudy was his first choice. Now Rudy says he regrets turning down the AG post. Such a shame. I really think Rudy was the right guy for that job at this time. He is a brilliant communicator and is willing to push back. Sessions never pushes back. He only works within the system, and that is too slow and ineffective for the coup attempt currently taking place. Trump will be out of office before Sessions gets done trying to get to the bottom of the coup attempt.
