Have any of the FISA judges been fired or resigned recently?
Oh and how do I get me one of them Twirter account deals?
;-)
It's a weird court. Judges from the federal system are selected by CJ of SCOTUS, and serve a term of years on FISC, so there is constant membership rotation.
And then, there is only one or two at the court on any given day, because the members do their regular court duty 3 or 4 weeks, then a week at FISC, then back to the regular duty, etc.
The heavy lifting is taking care of formalities, which is the only thing the judges check. DOJ and FBI are given complete trust by FISC. All in secret, trust them to protect your privacy. Hahahahah.
Sure,. Trust a government that is unable to restrain itself and is unwilling to show itself. Great formula.
I’m still of the opinion that we need to focus (i.e., get more info) on the role played by Rudy Contreras in the FISA approval/renewals.
