My monitor goes dark, when the mouse isn't moved after a period of time, but it usually comes back on the second I move the mouse.

It would not come back on. So I turned the power off. It took several tries before I got the HP symbol. I don't know why.

Anyway it's ok now. Thank goodness. I do have dilapidated old dinosaur for a backup-but that would be desperate.

Happened to the wife’s. Grabbed the closest flat screen and plugged computer to it. Works great!
