I wouldn’t worry too much. I heard thru the grapevine the Bagster Times attorney was a stray cat named Frodo.
Dittos! I'm shoor. And thanks RN for keeping us current on this Q freeway! :^O
Farmers in Isfahan on their 56th day of #IranProtests chant "Reprobates" at the police flanking their rally. Today's footage via MEK activists in #Iran. The farmers' protests are over the re-routing of Zayanderud River which has destroyed the local agriculture. FYI: @USAdarFarsi pic.twitter.com/U1vnhSGWlP— M. It's a weird court. Judges from the federal system are selected by CJ of SCOTUS, and serve a term of years on FISC, so there is constant membership rotation.
And then, there is only one or two at the court on any given day, because the members do their regular court duty 3 or 4 weeks, then a week at FISC, then back to the regular duty, etc.
The heavy lifting is taking care of formalities, which is the only thing the judges check. DOJ and FBI are given complete trust by FISC. All in secret, trust them to protect your privacy. Hahahahah.
Sure,. Trust a government that is unable to restrain itself and is unwilling to show itself. Great formula.
I really think one of the things that will happen after a lot this FISA stuff comes to light is a completely new system for anything FISA. What a screwed up system.
Sure, good make work for the legislators and lawyers. Give the people the impression "something is being done about it," and voila, we'll have a mix of TSA and FISA snooping around our junk.
The only reason FISA exists is to mislead the public that government snooping is carefully controlled. Give.me.a.break Well that and make good-paying work for judges and lawyers.

I was thinking more along the lines of getting rid of the whole horrid mess.
Geez Check out Corsi’s latest Twetter rant.

He has really gone off the rails.
(Dropping back into Serious Mode)
If you wish to discuss necessary changes to the FISA court system, perhaps the conversation should expand to include the entire Federal Judicial System.....DOJ, Supreme Court, Appellate Courts (Particularly the 9th)....the_whole_damn_system.
And after we get done with that Battle Royal, we go after Tort Reform.
...real troublemaker tonight, ain’t I?
Yikes! That is a conversation for a whole different time!!
Can we start with an election system that has a chance of not being rigged first?
That would suit me. It doesn't make sense to create a secret space that has to be paid for extra, for no gain in privacy.
The government has the right to snoop without a warrant, see US v US District Court [Keith], 407 U.S. 297 (1972), the case that "spurred" the creation of the FISA system.
The issue before us is an important one for the people of our country and their Government. It involves the delicate question of the President's power, acting through the Attorney General, to authorize electronic surveillance in internal security matters without prior judicial approval. Successive Presidents for more than one-quarter of a century have authorized such surveillance in varying degrees, without guidance from the Congress or a definitive decision of this Court. This case brings the issue here for the first time. Its resolution is a matter of national concern, requiring sensitivity both to the Government's right to protect itself from unlawful subversion and attack and to the citizen's right to be secure in his privacy against unreasonable Government intrusion. ...
Bear in mind that this case sits on a house of cards created by the court in the first place, beginning with SCOTUS holding that there is no reasonable expectation of privacy (at all) in electronic/telephonic communication. Mean no warrant required for wiretapping, no violation of the 4th amendment.
Government will always use surveillance to the extent money and technology permit - "legal" limitations mean nothing. The government lies about this, because if it told the truth, the people would rebel. So, Congress, the courts, and even the executive all make the right couping sounds (I did that on purpose) to lull the people into a sense that the government actually respects the constitution.
About as much as I respect the government.
Nunes said something the other day about 5 eyes...
What he was saying is that they now knew the info on Pappadopolis did not come from any of the 5 eyes. Previously the FBI was saying they were tipped off by the Australian”eyes”. But we now know none of the 5 Intel agencies gave that info to the FBI. It is surmised that Hillary’s State Dept passed the info to the FBI which started the whole Russia Collusion investigation and FISA wiretapping.
.
We can settle out of court.
What time you get off work?
*wink*
Bagster
Great find.
Thank God for Admiral Rogers.
It’s a relief every time there’s another confirmation of “we have everything”
I'll see you in court too, missy.
