Can we be at all sure that the Iranian people want to be rid of their nuclear program? Wanting more freedom does not necessarily equate with disarmament.

Sorry I fell asleep and didn't answer your question. The problem in Iran as I see .it.only viewing twitter and that's a small door to look through...people are going hungry there, farmers without once good farming land because of a re-routed damn, people and families begging for food and shelter, so these people...want nothing else but a roof over their heads and food. The basic essentials for life.
The government is wanting to control the people, complete a land bridge to the mediterranean and of course not get rid of their nuclear program.
I can't speak for the people but what's a nuclear program without the basics to live or the freedom to speak? Also did I mention the many in prisons for speaking out about their conditions and the forcing of wearing certain clothing.
As President Trump said, the Iranian government masks a corrupt dictatorship behind the false guise of a democracy... The longest-suffering victims of Irans leaders are, in fact, its own people.
This cartoon vividly explains the approach adopted by #Iran's regime vis-a-vis various social media platforms. While Twitter, Facebook, ... are banned for ordinary Iranians, senior officials such as @khamenei_ir & @HassanRouhani are active on such mediums. #Hypocrisy.

With all the money #Iran's regime is taking from people through electricity bills, this is what they provide utility personnel: The technician is placed in a trash dumpster & raised by a crane. (L)
For a comparison the bottom image is from South Carolina, U.S.
