Seems kind of silly and snobbish to hold that against her. Most people today are a mixture of a lot of ethnicities but I guess royals want pure bloodlines. Good luck with that today.
If the royal family didn’t accept it, it wouldn’t be happening. However, I’ve seen plenty of racist commentary on FR.
Oh, and I don’t know anything about her. I never even heard of her until she became engaged to Harry. I don’t know about her character, etc. I do think it’s kind of tacky to say somebody is “wrong” because of some of her bloodline. That’s all.
It's not the royals who have been causing the problem. The Queen has an official duty to approve or deny the marriages down to the 7th in line, and she has given her blessing, as have Harry's father and brother. It's things like comments in the DailyMail by anonymous posts, and presumably hate mail, most likely from within Britain, where the white native-born people have been sidelined and demeaned in favor of other racial groups, especially if they are undocumented immigrants.
