Sessions is not aggressive enough" criticism, ID's Holder as a strong AG. So when Sessions ignores being held in contempt, and ignores subpoenas, he's behaving as Holder, a strong AG

Not exactly what people like me are saying. Holder was a corrupt AG protecting a corrupt President. He showed how easy it is to be a firewall between any investigation and Presidential action. He was in sync with his President, and made sure no one would get a chance to know what was really going on. Sessions is allowing a corrupt DOJ and DS to attack the President he serves. He is not showing his courage by letting the DOJ hide and obfuscate all their nefarious activities over the last 2 years. He is being wimply. He was not a firewall between the DS and the President, he allowed himself to be taken out of the equation entirely and let a DS Deputy create a firestorm that the President has to deal with every day from a phony allegation that everyone, including RR, knows is phony. The difference between Holder and Sessions is that Sessions is not serving his President by taking on those who would attack him with legal actions and investigations. If Sessions wanted to by like Holder, he would be going after Trump's enemies and exposing all the FISA abuses, among many other things.

I disagree with that comparison. Holder did not go after criminals, he went after political enemies, and aided and abetted criminals, and was one himself.

Sessions is not serving his President by taking on those who would attack him with legal actions and investigations.

Do you personally have knowledge that Sessions is not doing this? Because if you are not personally involved in the DOJ and know personally what Sessions and those associated with him are or are not doing, you really do NOT know this. I trust that Sessions is doing exactly what he should be doing.

-- All because Sessions was snookered into recusing himself instead of doing his job --

That was you at post 945 in this thread. Based on that post, I put you on my "do not correspond" list. My prerogative, it cause you no harm, and saves me time.

You are of course free to post to me or pretend I don't exist. I'm indifferent.

I'm replying this one time because you addressed an obvious thoughtful remark to me personally.

Either Sessions follows the rules governing conflict (28 CFR 45.2) or not.

Rosenstein and the people managing Sessions' Chinese wall are sandbagging him, sequestering hims from all sorts of stuff that he (Sessions) is not recused from. This makes a hot mess.
