Plus The Fountainhead. A little heavier reading.

Wow! Long haul trucks dives! I suppose they ran off of a road into lakes or rivers, or maybe fell off bridges on the coast? Trucks haul all kinds of stuff, but i wouldn’t be interested in diving on one that had............ oh..... never mind,..... I see the typo.

When I was a kid in the 50s Daddy had a “Motor” manual. I used it a lot on my 55 Ford.

1 Essay. "Individual and Mass Behavior in Extreme Situations," by Bruno Bettelheim, an Austrian psychoanalyst and survivor of Dachau and Buchenwald).
Powerful essay still and very much applicable today and especially so. For instance a point made was that "Totalitarianism had the power to not only enforce obedience but also to change personality." Very powerful essay that has informed much of my understanding in this area. Love or hate Bettelheim, his work here as a thinker is fantastic.
Yes.
Another good one ;D
hmmm. Number 3 looks interesting. Gonna have to check it out.
The Radio Amateurs Handbook

Theodore White's Making of the President books and Up from Liberalism by William F. Buckley also made a big impression on me when I was younger.
