For me, it’s been a reminder to step back from my normal perspective and realize what’s globally important. In my personal little space, I hate H and O and really want to see something publicly bad happen to them. But, instead, the world just became a safer place while I was wallowing in hopes of revenge. And I almost missed it because it happened because of our president, so the MSM almost ignored the Koreas possibly making peace and, certainly, NK no longer threatening nuclear devastation.
And Iran. Israel has been let loose to do whatever it needs to do to make sure it survives. And, while nervewracking, it has incredible potential to ALSO make the world more peaceful. So I remind myself that my dreams of revenge just don’t compare with what Trump is accomplishing. I do hope those April showers rain down on H and O someday, but I can settle for world peace like a Miss USA hopeful.
What a centered and honest sentiment: I feel exactly the same way but my revengelust still blinds me.. I better work on that.
