But....global warming......
My wife and I got snowed and sleeted on in mid-April while camping in The Netherlands in 1981. The storm came across the Channel from England where it had shut down transportation. It made for an interesting visit to the Keukenhof the next morning to see the tulips. Each flower held a small amount of sleet.
I was gonna put this question under “a friend said to me” but hell, the world hates a coward.
It was 45 today in NYC. It’s gonna be 82 in a few days.
I dont remember with my middle aged brain if that’s the norm through spring or if it’s just a random occurrence based on normal weather patterns this time of year.
Forget about global climate change nonsense, HOW does weather change 40 degrees in a few days? Fascinating.
But in full disclosure, I am embarrassed but courageous enough to say that the SJW onslaught combined with the extreme change in weather here the next few days, for a BRIEF part of a second, made me wonder :(
We’re only human :(
Al gore must be visiting.
I HOPE THERE’S NO VIKING KITTIES IN MY FUTURE!!!
It snows here in the Colorado Rockies into June.
What happened to Global warming. IT WAS A HOAX!
It’s now not global warming, but...climate change...no...climate disruption...
You can get 40 degree plus swings in 36 hours in Texas.
It snowed in Reno, Tx yesterday? Did not think it was cold enough being a high of 86f.
Wow.
It’s on me to read the why, but thanks for the reply.
My IDIOCY only lasted a split second.
That’s why it’s important to visit FR so often.
Many here are completely immune to the leftist onslaught.
I’d like to think I am, but I think the FR reinforcement is very helpful.
Yep, just south of you it is snowing in the High Sierra of California.
I had a half inch in my yard this morning. There are still two foot snowbanks along most of my driveway.
It’s called WEATHER!!
The Talking Heads were talking about the dearth of tornadoes this season.
Well, DUH! When there is no warm weather - THERE ARE NOT TORNODOES!!
Is this bad for the Calvados apple brandy?
They were always drinking it Erich Maria Remarque’s “Arc de Triomphe.”
I was in Normandy in early May in 2006. The weather was gorgeous. In Paris, people were still wearing sweaters and winter coats. I must have looked like a freak to them because I wasn't wearing a jacket or coat. The temperatures were in the high 50's or low 60's. Later that same May, the bus tour I was on was in the Scottish Highlands. It was snowing, and some of the people on the bus were from Australia. They'd never seen snow before, and had the bus driver stop so they could get pictures of it to show the people back home.
It’s Winter here today in SoCal, tomorrow will be Spring and Wednesday it will be Summer and in the 90s.
When I was stationed in England in the early 70’s it snowed once in JUNE, albeit, not much.
